The Second Annual
Healthy Dog Project Seminar
Presents
Dr. Martin Goldstein
June 25, 2011

Cooperstown, NY (June 17, 2010) -- A newly created Healthy Dog Project seminar series had its inaugural fund raising event with Dr. Christina Chambreau in Cooperstown, NY at the Fenimore Art Museum on June 6th and successfully raised a significant donation for the Rabies Charitable Trust.
With the help of nationally known veterinarians such as Dr. Christina Chambreau, and Dr. Martin Goldstein (our 2011 speaker) the Healthy Dog Project is able to assist the community at large with detailed, scientific information on canine health issues such as; vacation protocols, species appropriate diet, topical pesticide usage, Lyme disease, and the newest integrative approaches in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Goldstein is the consulting veterinarian for Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart and authored “The Nature of Animal Healing”. He has waived his speaking fee to help promote the 2011 event.
Proceeds from the Healthy Dog Project seminar(s) go to directly to the Rabies Challenge Fund Charitable Trust. The Rabies Charitable Trust is working to determine the duration of immunity conveyed by rabies vaccines. The goal is to extend the required interval for rabies boosters to 5 and then to 7 years. This project depends primarily upon grassroots gifts for funding the costs of conducting the requisite vaccine trials.
Seminars are free and open to the public, although donations are strongly suggested.
